Your mission, roles and responsibilities
- Develop the administration of suppliers' technical resources.
- Apply methods and tools focused on improving production processes.
- Manage the improvement of material quality supplied by vendors during mass production, as well as the day-to-day relationship with suppliers.
Responsibilities and Activities
* Administer the supplier rejection system (QSS/GPS).
* Monitor supplier PPM performance.
* Conduct conference calls with suppliers.
* Manage and follow up on Debit Alerts.
* Follow up and validate suppliers' corrective actions.
* Provide feedback on activities developed with suppliers.
* Validate and approve PPAP.
* Support production regarding supplier-related quality issues.
* Coordinate activities related to Incoming Inspection and quarantine areas.
* Visit production suppliers (SPQA, R@R, quality issues).
* Attend staff meetings and monitor ECRs.
* Promote process improvement through the generation of improvement ideas.
* Control and monitor quarantined materials against the SAP system.
Occasional Activities
* Generate supplier performance reports (Top Worst Suppliers).
* Conduct meetings with low-performing suppliers (monthly meetings).
* Generate QSS reports.
* Generate Debit Alert reports.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, related fields, or internal development
* English requiered: 85% speaking, 85% writing, 85% reading
* 2 years experience (process and system audits for suppliers
