Main Responsibilites:

* Plans, coordinates, and executes the development of purchased parts, leading corrective actions with suppliers through the implementation of methodologies such as root cause analysis and monitoring improvement plans.
* Ensures the quality of acquired components for various projects, including the introduction of new parts in existing models or the optimization of current supplier processes, in alignment with PDP and OFP guidelines.
* Actively collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and participates in quality reviews.

What Skills You Need:

* Basic to intermediate knowledge of metal manufacturing processes, including cutting, welding, bending, and assembly of metal components.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications related to fabricated metal parts.
* Experience using root cause analysis tools and solving quality issues in the metal fabrication environment.
* Experience in implementing and monitoring corrective action plans with suppliers of metal components.
* Intermediate knowledge of quality standards applicable to metal manufacturing (for example, ISO 9001, welding standards, etc.).
* Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate in quality reviews and process audits.
* Competence in using computer tools and quality management systems for tracking incidents and technical documentation.
* Knowledge and practical application of quality core tools, such as APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), MSA (Measurement System Analysis), and SPC (Statistical Process Control).

What Makes You Stand Out:

* Advanced proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, which enable process optimization and defect reduction.
* Ability to manage complex quality projects by leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating internal and external audits.
* Experience implementing integrated quality management systems (for example, ISO 14001, IATF 16949), providing strategic insight in the industrial environment.
* Skill in establishing strong relationships with international suppliers, negotiating technical requirements, and ensuring materials compliance.
* Knowledge of data analysis and advanced statistical tools to identify trends, anticipate problems, and propose innovative solutions.
* Additional certifications in quality management, such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, are highly valued.

Education:

* Educational background in Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering, with demonstrated expertise in applying engineering principles to quality management and process improvement.
* Ongoing training in quality tools, improvement methodologies, and integrated management systems, including courses on ISO standards and process auditing.
