Paint Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the production process, promoting the optimization of manufacturing and productivity processes, as well as product quality and workplace transformation through key performance activities (KAI). They must monitor and follow up on the SPW methodology using the SFM boards, TOTEM Board, Ewall, and Reliability Run Matrix, ensuring the proper implementation and continuity of these tools. Additionally, they actively participate in problem-solving meetings, collaborating on root cause analysis and defining and implementing preventive and corrective actions to improve the process. They also conduct rigorous follow-up on indicators that are outside the established levels, taking necessary corrective actions and promoting continuous improvement to achieve the set objectives. Their main responsibilities include fostering a safe, orderly, and efficient work environment, driving improvement initiatives, quality control, and a problem-solving culture within the area, always focused on maximizing efficiency, reducing waste, and ensuring the final product's quality.

Implement production strategic initiatives to achieve long-term objectives in efficiency, volume, and quality aligned with the Painting KPI Tree.

Contribute to the planning and execution of projects that improve production processes and increase productivity, following up on the problem resolution board.

Participate and follow up on the establishment of performance goals aligned with the KPI Tree of the paint shop

Supervise daily operations to ensure production, quality, and safety plans are met across all shifts.

Coordinate and support inline problem-solving, guaranteeing immediate actions to maintain production and quality levels, utilizing the SPW methodology.

Effectively communicate results, progress, and deviations by preparing reports and updating boards, files, and data necessary for statistical analysis.

Train and develop production personnel to improve technical skills and promote a safe and motivating work environment.

Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality to manage resources and ensure production priorities align with available resources

Ensure proper use and efficient management of materials, tools, and resources necessary to maintain production continuity.

They are responsible for understanding, participating in, and ensuring the implementation of the ISO 9001, 14001, 50001 systems, as well as the Stellantis Manufacturing Quality Manual, Quality Management System (QMS), Global Requirements (Operational Standards), Regional Requirements (North American legal requirements), Procedures, Work Instructions, and internal formats (MSP), the Stellantis Production System (SPW), and any additional systems or initiatives the organization decides to implement.

They are responsible for complying with corporate and legal safety and health requirements within their area/scope of control and for ensuring that the workers under their supervision follow appropriate safety practices.

They are also responsible for implementing and participating in the ISO 14001 system, ensuring the safe final disposal of their waste, and maintaining environmental performance indicators
