About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will grow existing partnerships and develop new relationships by acting as a strategic partner for our retail merchants. This role combines business development, commercial strategy, and operational coordination to drive sustainable growth and deliver strong results aligned with Uber's sales goals.
You will work closely with internal teams and merchant partners to ensure seamless execution across operations, merchandising, and catalog management. Through data-driven insights, structured planning, and consistent communication, you will help merchants improve performance while strengthening long-term partnerships.
What You'll Do
* Lead the commercial relationship for assigned retail categories, managing multiple merchants through annual plans and regular weekly and monthly business reviews
* Execute commercial strategies that drive growth across your portfolio, aligned with category and merchant-specific goals
* Partner closely with catalog and operations teams to ensure a high-quality consumer experience
* Develop and implement action plans to improve key performance indicators, including promotional strategies tailored to each category or specialty store
* Present and recommend solutions to merchants by clearly communicating the value of Ads and Direct offerings
* Oversee financial-related processes such as invoicing follow-ups and managing overdue portfolios
* Act as a key point of coordination between merchants and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely execution
What You'll Need
* 1-2 years of professional experience in commercial roles such as consulting, retail, or CPG
* Strong ability to identify problems, generate insights, and translate them into actionable solutions
* Solid organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft tools, with advanced Excel skills required
* Detail-oriented, hands-on mindset with a strong sense of ownership
* Proficiency in English
Bonus Points
* Ability to manage multiple merchant relationships while maintaining attention to detail and fast execution
* Strong presentation skills, with the ability to create clear, structured, and impactful materials
* Experience working cross-functionally with internal or external teams such as Legal, Marketing, or Operations
* Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage pipelines and daily activities
