The Data Foundation SE org is looking for a Strategic DSE in Amsterdam to represent EMEA North (Benelux & Nordics regions). DSEs drive MuleSoft's and Informatica's growth by defining and leading initiatives within their OU focusing on strategic opportunities, accounts, and industry motions with deep technical and product expertise, with a particular emphasis on agentic integration, AI-powered platforms, Data platforms and the MuleSoft Agent Fabric ecosystem.
These are qualifications you'll need to be successful:
Distinguished Competencies:
* EVP/SVP championship: Solutions and Sales executive leadership would endorse you based on your customer and Salesforce impact. Demonstrated through consistent recognition by SE and Sales leadership in EMEA North, including EVP-level visibility.
* Scale and Multiplier Effect: You are a multiplier of talent by giving back to the Solutions community in at least three of the following areas: presenting at major Salesforce customer events, mentoring other SEs and CORE Architects regularly presenting enablement, creating assets that are widely leveraged across Solutions, engaging in a special project that benefits the Solutions community.
* Impact and Thought Leadership: You have a strong brand and following (acting already as Distinguished), due to known customer impact in the Solutions Community. You are known for excelling in your role with thought leadership and impact. Recommended 5+ years as a MuleSoft Principal Strategic CA.
* Customer Success / ACV Contribution: You have consistently made an ACV impact and would be able to provide multiple win examples or a customer reference. This includes the ability to team and partner with Client SEs, Strategic Client Architects, Specialists, and the broader CORE team.
* Company Values: You are an advocate of Salesforce values and demonstrate one or more in your work.
Foundational DSE Qualifications:
* A passion for technology with a strong ability to translate it into a meaningful business impact to our customers
* Excellent presentation and composure abilities in front of all levels of technical and non-technical audiences - including C-level and board-level stakeholders, as well as large partner and customer audiences at events such as World Tour and Partner Summits
* Proven ability to build trust with clients and influence key decision-makers
* Ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external partners to qualify deals, identify business value, and provide technical guidance in order to set expectations to ensure customer success
* Hands-on experience with MuleSoft and Informatica platform capabilities including API Management, MuleSoft Agent Fabric, Mule Vibes, AI Gateway, and integration with Data Foundation platforms (e.g., Informatica, Data Cloud).
* Experience with cloud technologies, including iPaaS, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure, with particular depth in agentic integration patterns, LLM orchestration, and enterprise data governance.
* Ability to lead deep-dive discussions and conduct technical discovery meetings to document, analyze, and clarify business and technical requirements for detailed solution proposals
* Eager to stay up to date with evolving technology landscapes while maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies, positioning DF's value effectively. Actively tracks and contributes to the evolution of MuleSoft, Informatica, and the broader Salesforce platform portfolio.
* Ability to provide ongoing, post-sales, technical guidance to the client's technical team to drive adoption/utilization of MuleSoft's solutions and digital transformation success
* Ability to travel as needed and to work flexible hours
* Degree or equivalent relevant experience required, with consideration given to leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, and professional experience.
Job Responsibilities:
* Focus on Top Accounts (Strategic Expand) - Provide thought leadership and representation. Includes strategic engagement on key EMEA North enterprise accounts (e.g., Booking.com, ASML, Novo, DHL) in close alignment with Core SE and AE teams.
* Proactively engages with C-level executives and major customers on strategic solutions to accelerate must-win and upsell.
* Industry Expertise (Scale Industry Knowledge) - Be an active champion of your respective industry community. Recognized as a top expert in their field, influencing not just their team or vertical but also the EMEA community, acting as a go-to resource for AI Data integration architecture.
* Scale/Multiplier Effect (Elevate Peers) - Specific focus on mentoring and targeted deal coaching and enabling the broader SE, CA, and partner ecosystem to more effectively position the value of DF within the Salesforce portfolio.
* Contribute to messaging on DF viewpoints, demos, white papers, business value assessments, and other impactful industry-wide and go-to-market assets, events, and discussions. Ensure Product Management feedback loop.
