What you are going to do
Are you a quantitative master student? In this role you will work with the Finance Quants, Finance Specialists and Actuaries in the teams to help develop and test reporting and automation solutions

The NN Re Finance department is responsible for financial accounting, business and cost controlling, reinsurance administration, statutory reporting, Solvency 2 disclosures, asset reporting and managing the data quality and financial reporting risk framework.

You have a mentality to get things done. You can create solutions and work to achieve team objectives within deadlines and have attention to detail and a good feeling for the big picture.
* Quantitative master student
* R, Python, Databricks, Excel
* English speaking and writing skills
* Good communication, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills
* Available for a minimum of 21 hours per week.

Who you will work with
NN Re is the reinsurance and hedging company of NN Group. Within NN Group, we are a relatively small organization with around 70 people from more than 15 different countries. In NN Re you get exposure to innovative balance sheet solutions, will work in a team of experts and interact with business partners around the world.

We help our customers optimize their risk profile, capital consumption and P&L volatility. Besides that, we manage various hedging books related to investment guarantees underwritten throughout NN Group.

The Capital Management department is responsible for actuarial modelling, best estimate assumption setting, IFRS17 and Solvency 2 reporting, balance sheet planning and ALM. The department also works on strategic business initiatives.
