The Technology Specialist - Azure is a Data Engineer in the Connected Brewery Data Platform product team, responsible for designing, building, and operating real-time and batch data flows. The role requires driving solutions in multiple analytics use cases and projects, ensuring a reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient data platform.

Your responsibilities would include:

* building and operating ingestion and transformation pipelines using Azure services

* automating deployments, monitoring and alerting using Azure DevOps

* collaborating with solution architects to ensure alignment with Heineken's standards and best practices (i.e. quality, architecture, compliance & security)

* taking ownership of issues from diagnosis to resolution, driving continuous improvement.

You are a good candidate if you have:

* solid background in Azure event-driven services (Event Hubs, Event Grid, Functions, Logic Apps)

* hands-on with data lakes and pipelines (Databricks, ADF, Synapse)

* knowledge of governance frameworks and tools (Unity Catalog, RLS, data contracts, observability tools)

* experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), and integration with analytics layers (e.g PowerBI)

* strong problem ownership and analytical judgement

* ability to collaborate across cultures and communicate technical concepts

* proactive, ownership-driven mindset, able to support, and drive priorities

* excellent English language.
