Application support engineer (Linux, SQL, Oracle)

We are looking for you, if you:
* monitor and maintain application performance, ensuring high availability and reliability,
* manage an application on OS level,
* perform performance debugging and tuning in Oracle databases,
* write and optimize PL/SQL and SQL queries,
* you are able to analyze & solve problems efficiently,
* you are good at communication and are able to deliver results as promised,
* provide 24x7 application support on a rotational basis,
* develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and monitoring,
* ensure compliance with IT risk management and DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) framework,

You'll get extra points for:
* understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

Your responsibilities:
* perform performance debugging and tuning in Oracle databases,
* write, review, and optimize PL/SQL and SQL queries for efficiency and scalability,
* conduct SQL code optimization to improve system responsiveness,
* develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and monitoring tasks,
* implement solutions that reduce manual effort and enhance operational efficiency,
* provide 24x7 application support on a rotational basis to ensure continuous service availability,
* respond to incidents promptly, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures,
* monitor and maintain application performance to ensure optimal availability and reliability,
* manage applications at the OS level, including troubleshooting and configuration,
* ensure the environment is secure, stable, and compliant with IT risk management standards,
* ensure adherence to DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) and IT risk management frameworks,
* maintain documentation and audit readiness for regulatory compliance.

* multi-entity and multi-GAAP accounting with detailed balances in various currencies,
