We are seeking an experienced GPU Software Engineering Manager to join our team in Gdansk, Poland.
In this position, you will be responsible for driving a team of software developers or software quality process engineers engaged in the automated quality assurance and release pipeline of the graphics driver software.
You will have the opportunity to co-define large-scale automation systems operating 24/7 in an unattended mode, delivering continuous results as input to CI/CD processes. You will work with large datasets and propose solutions to scale up and shorten time-to-market on the software validation side. You will collaborate with world-class experts to define CI/CD pipeline standards.
In addition, you will contribute to bringing all Intel Graphics solutions to market, including integrated and discrete graphics products found in PCs, laptops, and servers.
Key responsibilities:
* Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products.
* Manage a lean team of skilled software engineers.
* Manage and execute software development projects from start to finish.
* Use and build next-generation generative AI tools and ML techniques.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with company objectives.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to the software engineering team.
* Evaluate and implement appropriate software development methodologies and processes.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members for continuous improvement.
* Ensure software products meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and incorporate them into operations and activities as appropriate.
* Define and track quality metrics, test coverage, and release velocity.
* This is a 60/40 management/technical role: you are expected to participate in code reviews, architecture decisions, and contribute code.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
* Overall industry experience of 8 years, including a proven track record in a management position.
* Proven hands-on software development experience with the ability to review code, guide architecture decisions, and contribute technically when needed.
* Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
* Experience in driving a team of SW developers delivering a system for Continuous Integration of driver software.
* Proven track Experience
* Experience in defining a large-scale automation system used for unattended software validation.
* Experience with Agile software development techniques.
* Experience with generative AI, including fluency in building AI tools, toolkits and skills for agentic workflows.
* Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes with a proven track record at a massive scale.
* Hands-on experience within massive-scale service systems and validating integration software solutions.
* Good interpersonal skills to deal with different stakeholders from component software and various levels of program management areas.
* Ability to work in a team spread across geographical areas.
* Fluency in both Polish and English, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have:
* Experience with modern APIs (e.g., REST, GraphQL, MCP).
* Familiarity with defining automated test strategies involving various HW components.
* Working knowledge in scripting languages like Python.
* Working knowledge in large databases deployment and maintenance.
* Training and mentorship skills to enable team members on technical aspects.
* Hands-on experience as system-level validation architect.

The group also has HW and SW engineering experts responsible for delivering IP, SOCs, runtimes, and platforms to support the CPU and GPU/accelerator roadmap, inclusive of integrated and discrete graphics.
