About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Health & Safety Technician to support the implementation and continuous improvement of our Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures. This role is key to ensuring compliance with legal requirements and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the implementation and monitoring of Occupational Health & Safety policies and programs
* Ensure compliance with national and European health and safety legislation
* Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and safety audits
* Identify hazards and propose preventive and corrective actions aligned with all departments
* Support accident and incident investigations and reporting
* Promote health and safety awareness through training and communication initiatives
* Collaborate with internal departments, managers, and external entities
* Maintain H&S documentation and reports in accordance with legal and internal requirementsRequirements

* Degree or professional qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field
* Certified Health & Safety Technician (CAP / equivalent certification)
* Knowledge of Portuguese H&S legislation
* Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Fluency in English (spoken and written)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
* Avaiability to work between 2:15pm and 10:10pm
