Key Responsibilities:
* Supports the business by communicating team resource loading and skill requirements to the direct supervisor.
* Ensures the project work is covered for vacation and unplanned absences. Mentors/trains and supports the delivery of training.
* Encourages knowledge of and compliance with requirements and processes.
* Works to resolve inter-discipline, vendor, and customer issues.
* Ensures discipline technical work and team activities meet all health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.
* Determines technical issues, defines alternate solutions, establishes pros/cons for multiple solutions, and makes recommendations to support official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc.
* Creates final documentation incorporating all relevant information and pursues internal authorization.
* May review similar documentation to assist others and reviews/authorizes work done by direct reports.
* Perform discipline specific design and drafting services such as:
* Ensure the project scope is clear and that changes to scope comply with project change management processes;
* If required, participate in studies and analyses and recommend actions;
* Prepare and oversee the production of engineering drawings and documentation;
* Ensure all drawings and documents are checked in accordance with Worley checking procedures;
* Participate in project reviews as required.
Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
* Trade Apprenticeship, Certificate, Diploma, Advance Diploma of Engineering Technology in Mechanical/Piping discipline.
Industry Specific Knowledge:
* Experience in Brownfield & Greenfield in both onshore & offshore projects.
* Proven experience of detailed piping design gained with design contractors and/or oil/gas companies within the industry.
* Extensive design experience in the relevant discipline in the same or similar industry, and, where relevant, experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
IT Skills:
* S3D & E3D, AUTOCAD, LFM

* Maintain HSE focus with the team to ensure OHSE requirements.
