Job Description
Purpose of the role
To optimise staffing levels, forecasts, scheduling and workforce allocation through data analysis to enhance the customer experience within the bank's operations.
Accountabilities
* Management of staff optimisation levels, forecasting and scheduling resources by analysing data, business volume and trends to support the workforce allocation process.
* Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate workforce management processes and governance.
* Development and implementation of workforce management strategies, processes and controls to mitigate risks and maintain efficient banking operations.
* Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in workforce management processes and provide feedback and coaching for colleagues on these highlighted areas.
* Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in workforce management Services. .
* Participation in projects and initiatives to improve workforce management efficiency and effectiveness.
* Development and management of staffing schedules to optimise staffing levels to meet business needs.
* Management of the operational readiness plans, supporting the business with meeting desired customer outcomes.

Join the Barclaycard Issuing Data, Insights & Workforce Management team and play a key role in ensuring the business is equipped to meet customer and operational demand. As a Workforce Management Analyst, you will use data and insight to analyse demand, capacity, volume and workforce trends, helping to optimise forecasting, scheduling, staffing and resource allocation. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will provide clear, data-driven recommendations that support strong customer and commercial outcomes, while contributing to the continuous improvement of workforce management processes, governance, controls and operational readiness. This role is ideal for a highly analytical individual with strong Excel, PowerPoint, stakeholder management and influencing skills, and an interest in workforce planning, resource management or recruitment-related activities.
To be successful as a Workforce Management Analyst, you must have experience with:
* Workforce Management experience and strong analytical skills; delivering data, and insight as standard, to a high level.
* Demonstrable stakeholder management, influencing and engagement skills.
* Strong Excel skills, with desire to progress away from spreadsheets to automated solutions.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
* Specialist knowledge of demand and capacity processes/resource planning models.
* Knowledge of recruitment/hiring processes, practices, and mechanics.
* Experience working with automation tools and/or operational forecasting & planning methodologies.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job specific technical skills.
This role is based in Northampton or Sunderland
