Descrizione del lavoro:

Siemens Mobility is dedicated to pioneering the future of transportation. Our dynamic team is always exploring new ways to drive innovation and efficiency in rail. We are searching for forward-thinkers who are eager to challenge themselves and make a tangible impact. If you are passionate about creating sustainable and intelligent transport solutions, we want you on our team.
We have an exciting opportunity to join Siemens Mobility as a Lead Project Engineer in CIS within our Rail Infrastructure business. We provide rail SCADA, Communications, Networks and Cyber Security for Mail Line, Mass Transit and Light Rail across the UK&I and Middle East, with key customer areas of Network Rail, HS2, TfL, TfGM, TfW, Irish Rail and Riyadh Metro. As a Lead Project Engineer, you will take ownership of the engineering delivery for defined work packages across one or more projects. You will ensure engineering requirements, standards, safety obligations, and customer expectations are fully met throughout the delivery lifecycle.
You will often act as the Project Engineering Manager (PEM) on medium-scale projects or lead engineering packages on larger programmes, coordinating multi-disciplinary inputs, managing technical risk and ensuring robust integration, testing and assurance. This role is pivotal in the successful delivery of our CIS (Communications & Information Systems) solutions.
You'll make an impact by
* Leading the engineering delivery of work packages or serve as PEM on medium projects, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, cost and safety objectives are achieved
* Developing, maintaining, and executing the Project Engineering Management Plan (PEMP), tailoring engineering governance to project complexity
* Driving engineering lifecycle activities: requirements capture, system design, integration, testing, V&V, and commissioning readiness
* Ensuring all engineering work complies with relevant standards, processes, technical specifications and safety obligations (CDM/CSM)
* Coordinating technical interfaces across disciplines, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring "right first time" integration
* Acting as the engineering representative to the PM, client, suppliers, and internal teams ensuring consistent communication of requirements, changes and engineering status
Your success will be grounded by
* Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Systems or related Engineering discipline (or equivalent experience)
* Strong engineering delivery experience in SCADA, SISS, Control Systems or large-scale integration projects
* Proven capability delivering across the full engineering lifecycle; requirements, design, integration, test, V&V and commissioning
* Experience acting as Work Package Manager, technical lead or PEM on scoped project elements
* Strong understanding of rail infrastructure environments, construction/installation constraints and operational railway practices and the ability to demonstrate managing requirements, configuration, change and engineering assurance processes effectively
* Background in multi-discipline environments such as SCADA, SISS, control systems, telecoms, M&E or line wide system integration and software-intensive systems (desirable)
You'll benefit from
Our compensation package includes a competitive salary, company bonus, holiday allowance and pension. We celebrate the fact that our employees are individuals and have different wants and needs. With this in mind, we have a flexible benefits scheme where you can tailor your benefits package to suit you.
