Job Description:
Recruiter - Clinical Services (Nursing, Theatre & Care)
London, Manchester or Leeds
Flexible working
Permanent
Full Time 37.5 Hours per week

Here you'll be welcomed. We champion diversity and we understand the importance of our people representing the communities and customers we serve. You'll find an inclusive environment where you can be yourself and where everyone is driven by the same purpose - helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives.

Role Overview

As a Clinical Recruiter, you will specialise in attracting and hiring high-quality healthcare professionals across nursing, theatre, and clinical care services.

You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care by ensuring we attract the very best talent - from registered nurses and theatre practitioners to healthcare assistants and specialist clinicians.

This is a fast-paced, high-impact role recruiting for the Cromwell Hospital and associated diagnostic centres, requiring strong direct sourcing capability and stakeholder influence.

What you'll do:
* Manage end-to-end recruitment for clinical roles, from requisition through to offer and onboarding
* Partner closely with hiring managers across ward, theatre, outpatient and diagnostic services to understand workforce needs
* Lead proactive direct sourcing strategies to identify and engage hard-to-fill clinical talent (e.g. theatre nurses, scrub practitioners, specialist nurses)
* Build and maintain robust talent pipelines across key clinical disciplines
* Create compelling, clinically relevant job adverts across multiple platforms
* Utilise job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and targeted search methods to attract passive candidates
* Screen and assess candidates for clinical competence, experience, and cultural fit
* Ensure all candidate activity is accurately tracked in the ATS (Workday)
* Coordinate interviews and support hiring managers throughout the selection process
* Drive timely feedback and maintain strong candidate engagement
* Collaborate with onboarding teams to ensure clinical compliance and documentation is complete at offer stage (e.g. NMC/HCPC checks, right to work)
* Provide regular market insight and hiring updates to senior stakeholders
* Champion inclusive hiring practices within clinical recruitment
* Support team collaboration and provide cover across roles when needed

What you'll bring
* Proven experience recruiting across clinical healthcare roles (e.g. nursing, theatres, AHPs and Healthcare Assistants)
* Strong track record of direct sourcing using multiple channels, including proactive headhunting for hard-to-fill roles
* Experience managing high-volume and specialist clinical vacancies simultaneously
* Understanding of clinical compliance requirements (e.g. professional registrations, safeguarding, right to work)
* Experience using an ATS (ideally Workday)
* Ability to influence and partner with stakeholders in clinical environments
* Confident working at pace, managing competing priorities and expectations
* Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills
* Experience as an internal clinical recruiter within healthcare settings (desirable)
