Your impact

We have an opportunity for a Copper Plate Operator to join the team onsite at Leonardo Helicopters, working in Industrial Operations.

What you will do as a Copper Plate Operator:

Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will be responsible for the following activities -
* Masking of components
* Use of Turbex
* Setting up of work to processes on the Copper Plate Line
* Running and monitoring Copper Plate Line
* Processing parts through Black oxide process
* De embrittlement oven loading and unloading, record keeping.
* Vac Blasting cleaning of parts
* Responding to process alarms and emergency alarms
* Proactive involvement in Business Improvement Activity i.e. Assist with producing SOPs, process manuals, and 5C and 5 why activity

The work pattern will be a day shift whilst completing training and then is set within a double-day weekly shift rotation (Early shift 06:00 - 14:00/Late shift 14:00 - 22:00) and the role is based onsite.

The starting salary for this role is £32,235.79.

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government's Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
