Junior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team on a fixed-term contract (maternity leave cover, approx. 2 years). What you'll be doing: Processing and settlement of primary documents/transactions (like bank payments, bank statements, incoming /outgoing invoices etc.) in accounting and banking system. Cooperation with external partners (like banks, suppliers, customers), controlling department, support other team members and other departments. Monthly closing activities and reporting. Implementation, execution and monitoring of internal controls on time within the functional responsibilities. What you'll bring: Minimum secondary education (accounting, finance, economics). Czech or Polish language at native speaker level. Knowledge of English language B2. Knowledge of MS Office, strong knowledge of MS Excel. Accuracy, reliability, flexibility, strong focus on detail. Ability to work in a team and communication skills. Potential to learn and growth. As advantage knowledge of accounting and tax law. As advantage 1 year of experience in a similar position in accounting.
