Data Engineer

At NN Group Finance & Risk, we work with vast and exponentially growing volumes of data. To transform this data into meaningful insights, it must be correct, accurate, complete, timely, and consistent. We are looking for an experienced Senior and Medior Data Engineers to help us build and manage data platforms on Azure, supporting investment operations, finance, and actuarial analytics.

Your mission
You will join a team developing a standardized data platform for Finance, Risk, and Actuarial departments. The goal is to create a single source of truth for reporting and analytics, including integration of transactions from Front Office systems into SimCorp Dimension.

What you will do
* Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
* Work with tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure DevOps.
* Implement Data Vault / Business Vault architecture.
* Build data models, data marts, and ensure data quality.
* Collaborate in an Agile/DevOps team and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Participate in testing, performance tuning, automation, and cost optimization.
* Provide mentoring to junior data engineers.

What we expect from you
* Master's degree.
* Advanced knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, and Python.
* Experience with CI/CD, data modeling, and developing data marts.
* Familiarity with Data Vault methodology is a plus.
* Hands-on experience with end-to-end data workflows.
* Experience working in a corporate Agile environment.
* Fluent English for communication with international stakeholders.
* Knowledge of the financial industry and investment processes is an advantage.
