QA Engineer

Team RDM (Reference Data Management) is looking for a driven QA Engineer in Czechia to support us with test automation, the implementation of various testing methodologies, and continuous improvements across the department.

Your impact at NN
Having correct and up to date reference data is a key component of the reporting needs and obligations at NN. Your task will be to contribute in the testing cycles across all initiatives included in the RDM roadmaps. You will strengthen the testing framework internally while coordinating with different teams to ensure alignment.

Your responsibilities
* Design and execute tests to mitigate risk.
* Collaborate with developers and analysts to resolve defects.
* Create test report at the end of each test cycle.
* Automate testing processes and maintain test documentation.
* Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial transactions.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Your skills and experience
* Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills, ownership, good communication skills
* Proven experience with QA methodologies is essential, experience with reference data management principles is a strong advantage.
* Advanced in writing functional and end to end test cases
* Hands on experience on C# or experience with other Object-Oriented Programming language
* Proficiency with SpecFlow, Cucumber.
* Advanced experience with Selenium WebDriver.
* Strong debugging skills within the .NET ecosystem (Visual Studio).
* Knowledge of POM and its implementation in Selenium (the project uses a BasePage and PageContainer architecture).
* Experience with Allure Report (or a similar test reporting tool) for test execution visualization
* Experience with Visual Studio IDE
* Experience with Git and Azure Pipelines
* Familiarity with MSTest (as the project uses MSTest.TestAdapter and Reqnroll.MsTest).
* Ability to maintain and refactor existing frameworks to improve stability and performance
* Knowledge of API testing using Swagger/Postman or another client.
* Experience working in a Microsoft Azure Data Platform environment and Azure DevOps, or similar
* Ability to work in Agile environments and communicate effectively in English, with both, technical and non-technical stakeholders.

How we hire

Usually, the selection process consists of two rounds. The first one takes place with the team lead and recruiter, where we discuss details about the position, the team, and your experience. If it goes well, there will be a second round with NL stakeholders, and this round is more technical. If everyone is satisfied at the end and it all fits, that's it - you can expect an offer! :)
