Junior/Senior Cash Accountant

As a Cash Accountant in our Global Business Services (GBS) team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring financial accuracy and supporting strategic decision-making across our French and Belgian entities.

We Want You

As a Junior:

* Process daily bank reconciliations and ensure accurate cash accounting

* Support month-end close activities and maintain foreign exchange rates

* Assist in resolving reconciliation discrepancies and propose corrections

* Review and confirm correct posting of external and intercompany loans

* Execute intercompany netting operations and payment processing

* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data accuracy

As a Senior:

* Serve as a technical expert in cash accounting, bank reconciliation, and treasury interfaces

* Lead month-end close activities for cash accounting operations

* Review and approve complex reconciliations and manual journal entries

* Resolve sophisticated reconciliation discrepancies and coordinate with cross-functional teams

* Support daily cash flow forecasting and long-term strategic planning

* Mentor junior team members and drive process improvements

Who Are You

Junior:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (or final year student for junior role)

* 0-2 years of experience for junior role; 1-4 years for regular role

* Basic understanding of accounting principles and cash accounting concepts

* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (formulas, pivot tables, vlookups)

* Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

* Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently

* Proactive communicator with a willingness to learn and adapt

Senior:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)

* Professional accounting certification (e.g., CECCAR, DEC, ACCA, CPA)

* 5-8 years of experience in cash accounting or treasury operations

* Expert knowledge of SAP Cash Management module and KTP Treasury Management

* Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with reconciliation tools

* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
