Junior QA Engineer

We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer supports the QA team in validating software applications through manual testing, ensuring that features meet business and functional requirements under supervision. Key Responsibilities Understand business and functional requirements Create and execute test cases based on provided specifications Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing Identify, document, and report defects using tracking tools Re-test fixed defects and assist with regression testing Support UAT activities when needed Collaborate with developers and business analysts Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint reviews) Required Skills & Qualifications 0-2 years of experience in manual testing (internship or academic projects accepted) Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla) Good analytical thinking and attention to detail Willingness to learn and develop testing skills Ability to work in a team Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) - mandatory Nice to Have Knowledge or strong interest in the banking domain (credits/loans/debt management) Interest in test automation and willingness to grow in this direction Education Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
