Join the Cisco Silicon One team in developing a unified silicon architecture for web-scale and service provider networks. You will be collaborating closely with our Platform SW team in Serbia, who own the CI/CD pipeline and environment stack, to define best practices, automate processes, and improve the utilization, efficiency, and speed of our development lifecycle.

As a DevOps SW Engineer, you will play a critical role in accelerating development velocity by building and maintaining a robust, scalable, and highly stable tools and process.
Your expertise in CI/CD automation, process optimization will directly impact the efficiency and speed of our development workflows.
By ensuring seamless software delivery and reliable infrastructure, you will empower teams to innovate and deploy faster while maintaining operational excellence

What You'll Do:
* Maintain and improve Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for various projects in Silicon One project.
* Design, implement, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipeline framework utilizing Python, OOP concepts and Flask based web-application.
* Drive AI enablement at a platform scale, work with AI experts around the world.
* Work on complex enterprise version control migrations, transitioning from self-hosted, on-premise architectures to highly scalable cloud-managed.
* Scale and expand our current systems to accommodate enterprise growth, handling complex migrations and robust architectures
* Enhance system observability to monitor CI/CD infrastructure, ensure smooth operation and quick resolution of issues.
* Collaborate with international teams to drive success of Silicon One CICD Platform.
* Drive reliability of system by taking part in On-Duty rotation.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 1+ years of hand-on experience
* Experience in Python
* Experience with pipeline concepts (Jenkins or GitHub Actions).
* Working experience with Git and Git-based Version Control Systems (GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket)
* Linux and bash knowledge and hands-on experience.
* Fluency in spoken and written English
* High level of work autonomy and sense of responsibility
* Ability to fix and proactively resolve issues.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with leveraging AI models and architectures within CI/CD.
* Experience with Jfrog Artifactory.
* Skills in Groovy/Java , Flask or Django based web-apps
* Familiarity with modern developer productivity tools and protocols (using agentic tools, MCP servers, Cursor, Claude Code etc.).
* Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Zabbix, Grafana).
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details. No stranger to debugging production systems and performing RCAs on incidents
