Our Body-in-White Maintenance organization plays a critical role in safeguarding equipment performance, production continuity, and operational excellence. We collaborate closely across Maintenance, Production, Engineering, Quality, and supplier networks to ensure that every process, resource, and maintenance activity aligns with high professional standards and long-term reliability goals.
Position Maintenace Planner, will be part of a team committed to structured maintenance planning, precise spare parts management, and proactive efficiency improvements-contributing to a stable and high-performing manufacturing environment.

What you'll do

As a BIW Maintenance Planner, you will be a key enabler of smooth and predictable shop-floor operations, combining strategic spare parts control with intelligent maintenance scheduling.

Spare Parts Management

* Develop and maintain a forward-looking spare parts strategy that fully supports BIW maintenance needs.
* Forecast demand using preventive and corrective maintenance plans and ensure optimal stock levels without shortages or excess.
* Identify critical components with Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians and secure their timely availability.
* Collaborate with suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure delivery quality.
* Track consumption, costs, and trends to support decision-making and continuous improvement projects.
* Maintain organized spare parts storage using 5S principles.

Maintenance Planning

* Transform prepared work orders into clear, efficient plans for Maintenance Technicians.
* Build optimal schedules taking into account time windows, capacity, and resource availability.
* Coordinate activities with engineering and other stakeholders to avoid conflicts during daily operations, shutdowns, or weekend work.
* Take advantage of unplanned production stoppages by assigning suitable maintenance tasks.
* Balance workload-reassigning tasks, shifting activities, or arranging contractor support depending on over- or under-capacity.
* Analyze planning losses such as material delays or schedule changes and support actions to reduce them.
* Ensure all planned work is conflict-free before freezing the final schedule.
Your work will directly contribute to reduced downtime, improved resource efficiency, and a more reliable BIW production environment.

What you'll bring

Qualifications & Background

* Bachelor's degree or technical college education in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
* Experience in spare parts planning, inventory management, or maintenance planning-preferably in automotive or fast-paced manufacturing.
* Familiarity with ERP and maintenance systems (SAP or Maximo is an advantage).

Skills & Competencies

* Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
* Proactive mindset, responsibility, independence, and readiness to drive improvements.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills-internally and with suppliers.
* English proficiency desirable; Slovak language required.

Compensation Data

Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 1.600 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
