Job Description:
Regulatory & Supervisory Management proactively supports the TD Securities Global Markets' businesses to achieve sustainable business strategies, effective and efficient operational processes, effective supervision and control processes, and alignment with the Bank's risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
The Global Markets Business Coordination (GMBC) Analyst will support the GMBC Director with the planning, management, and delivery of a robust TD Securities Global Markets Business Coordination mandate through all specific phases in alignment with business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Change Management
* Act as specialist in the execution of Global Markets Front Office Employee Change.
* Ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences comfortably and effectively within RSM, the Front Office, Business Heads, and Senior Executives.
* Accountable to ensure efficiency and completeness of execution of individual employee on/off-boarding and employee change management for TD Securities' Global Markets across all regions.
* Responsible for facilitating the timely on/off-boards / transfers / departures of Global Markets employees and related application accesses through communication with other internal service groups and related follow-up.
* Manage all ad hoc access requests and access issues for Global Markets.
* Manage the execution and follow up with HR on Associate Rotational program/interns/co-ops.
* Manage Service Level Agreements and escalation to all support and provisioning teams that are decentralized globally.
* Standard Roles Document ("SRD") reviews and triage.
* Provide support to GMBC's Global Telephony mandate.
Other Accountabilities
* Undertake information gathering, research and analysis of data to provide relevant advice and information.
* Assist with various Global Markets reviews, reporting, and reconciliations.
* Create and take ownership of existing and new business management reporting, including presentations and dashboards to be shared with senior management.
* Provide management with analysis of issue drivers, root causes, and provide recommendations for process improvement.
* Within area of accountability, identify and investigates standard and nonstandard issues.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with our Front Office partners as well as with independent support and control groups to facilitate the achievement of the above Core Accountabilities.
* Will have the opportunity to participate in small/mid-size projects and provide input to policy and project development enhancements.
* Respond to stakeholder requests, escalating identified issues with recommendations for further management action where required.
* Ensure ongoing communication with the team regarding status and progress of tasks and activities.
* Participate fully as a member of the broader RSM team and contribute to a positive work environment.
* Develop own professional expertise through on-the-job training and observation.
Depth & Scope:
* Collect and maintain industry data from outside sources, including conversations with the borrower, industry publications, payment card network information, etc. to assist with approach to risk assessment
* Participates in and/or assists in leading internal training activities to sales and customer service employees.
* Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required e.g. AML reporting
* Represents TD at civic, professional and bank-sponsored events; serve on non-profit boards and participate in professional organizations, as opportunities become available
Education & Experience:
* 4 Year Degree or equivalent
* Highly motivated and committed to providing superior service
* Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential
* Requires superior analytical skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment to make decisions
* Proven accuracy, well organized and able to multi-task to meet SLAs
* Expert knowledge of practices and procedures as related to Payment Card Network rules and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior knowledge and understanding of business processes, products and procedures across Global Markets is a strong preference
* Strong technical / development skills would be a very strong asset (e.g., Python, UiPath, etc.)
* Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.):
* Strong knowledge of Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups, formulas, etc.) is critical; ability to develop macros, write/edit code in VBA would be very advantageous.
* Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills; have an eye for detail; initiative to follow up on items or determine appropriate steps for timely resolution.
* Able to understand detailed and technical issues, can distill and summarize the problems, and recommend solutions to senior management.
* A self-starter who can think critically and make decisions independently, while also able to collaborate with business, infrastructure support and control contacts to achieve strategic and tactical objectives.
* Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Ability to confidently interact with all levels within the organization.
* Ability to prioritize workload to meet strict deadlines and manage effectively within a high-pressured environment.
* Extremely strong attention to detail and a deep sense of pride in work.
* Ability to work independently and across lines of businesses in a professional manner with minimal oversight.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing ad-hoc requirements within short timeframes.
* Must be self-motivated, energetic, results-oriented, and be committed to adding value to the organization.
