Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability, System Safety, and Supportability.
What You Will Do:
Life Cycle Engineering seeks entry-level engineers based out of Tewksbury, MA to support the Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) programs. In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of the system life cycle including:
* Assessing proposed designs and ensuring compliance to requirements
* Interpreting data and analyzing results from fielded systems
* Presenting to internal and external stakeholders at program meetings
* Working with cross functional and integrated product teams to solve complex problems during program design and execution
* Support Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) tasks by analyzing failure data, trends, and supporting failure investigations
* Assessing production and field failures and determining root cause and corrective action (RCCA)
* Performing Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analyses including mean time between failure (MTBF), mean time to repair (MTTR), RAM Modelling, and Failure Modes Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
This job is based at Raytheon's Tewksbury facility and is posted as ONSITE.
Qualifications You Must Have:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline
* This position requires 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships)
* The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
* GPA of 3.0 or higher
* Experience working in a professional environment such as internships or co-ops and/or on project teams
* Advanced degree such as a Master of Science (MS) or Engineering (ME or MEng)
* Strong analytical and communication skills

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
