* The Specialist, Technical Operations Training Technology Support is a member of the Technical Operations Support Team.
* The Specialist will provide technology support to the Training Delivery organization including some of our most advanced instruction tools.
What you'll do
As noted above, this list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.
* Analyzes data and creates metrics reports
* Technology Support Functions including:
* Virtual Instructor Led Training (both domestic and international) Technical Support
* Virtual Reality Support
* Augmented Reality Development and Support
* Hardware support for Training areas (rooms, audiovisual equipment, camera equipment)
* Collaboration with IT support to maintain classroom connectivity and up-to-date computer equipment
* Extensive on-site support (involving more than average travel)
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* 2 years of related experiece
Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
* Knowledge of technical operations and familiarity with Technical Operations structure
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
* Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
* Knowledge of technical operations and familiarity with Technical Operations structure
* Skills in technical problem solving
* Ability to be detail oriented with strong organization and communications skills and possess the ability to work with minimal supervision
* Ability to think critically and ask insightful questions
* Ability to be a team player with a positive, collaborative attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
* Demonstrated organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills
* Understands how to extract information from relevant manuals
* Knows where to find answers and have a willingness to go above what is required to help others
