Global Manufacturing Digital (GMD) is looking for Solution Architect to strengthen our capabilities towards our global manufacturing footprint.

What you'll do

You will be a part of a team who will support various clusters and drive the architecture within GMD together with other solution architects and enterprise architects.

Together with you team you will be responsible for defining and high-level design of target solutions and contribute in exploration of solution alternatives.

In addition you will:

* Ensure realization of solutions in accordance with operational requirements.

* Create a stable solution architecture with an "always on" target vision

* Ensure that technical solutions are supporting the target roadmap

* Be a subject matter expert in specific sub domains/areas.

What you'll bring:

To be successful we hope you will have experienece with the following:

* Extensive experience from developing target architectures in manufacturing/ automotive IT environments.

* Experience from complex global environments.

* Significant experience from developing & managing solutions and software (COTS & In-house developed)

* Broad knowledge of manufacturing processes, manufacturing execution systems (MES).

* Whilts its not a must, its a bonus if you have experience in the automotive industry

In addition we expect you to have knowledge and some experience with the following tools and technologies:

* Java container technology such as Kubernetes and docker

* Micro service architecture

* Knowledge within network, network security and information security

* Experience with integration technologies (MQ, Kafka, API's, …)

* Good communication skills in the English language both verbally and written.

Whilst we are looking for a senior candidate, we are open to considering you who are more junior and do not have all the experience listed, but and looking to take the next step in your career.

The position is based in either Gothenburg, Sweden or Ghent, Belgium.
