Test script developer (junior)

Project specific intro: Join our SINAMICS drive test automation team, where we develop automated test solutions for next-generation industrial drive systems.

You'll make an impact by:
* Designing, developing and maintaining automated test cases for SINAMICS drive systems, with a strong focus on regression and stability testing.
* Investigating test failures, analysing logs and traces, identifying root causes, and creating clear, high-quality bug reports.
* Collaborating closely with developers, test engineers and product experts to ensure high-quality releases and stable automation pipelines.

Your success is grounded in:
* Solid programming skills in C# (experience with test frameworks or automation is a plus).
* Understanding of test automation principles, debugging, and structured problem solving.
* Basic familiarity with industrial systems, embedded systems or hardware-related- testing OR willingness to learn drive/safety concepts.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex issues into actionable steps.
* Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Reliable team player attitude, proactive communication and ownership mindset.
* Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
* Active use of AI to support professional work.

You'll stand out with:
* Knowledge of SINAMICS or other Siemens drives / PLC / industrial automation systems.
* Experience in virtualization, simulation environments or hardware-in-the-loop setups.
* Prior exposure to test analysis, trace evaluation, or drive system commissioning.
* Experience with automation frameworks.
* Experiences in the field of agentic AI.
