The Team
Our mission is to empower system integrators. We don't just build HMI screens; we build the framework they use. This includes developing high-end Siemens faceplate libraries and extending the WinCC Unified Runtime Scripting model to allow programmatic control of the system.
Your Role
We are looking for an Engineer in Budapest who sits at the intersection of Industrial Automation and Software Development. You will work in an international SCRUM environment, bridging the gap between PLC logic and modern web-based HMI.
You'll make an impact by:
* Library Development: Design and implement high-quality HMI building blocks (faceplates, screen windows, scripts) for TIA Portal / WinCC Unified.
* RT Scripting: Use the extended Unified Runtime scripting model to enable data retrieval and programmatic system access
* Automated Testing: We don't like to do manual clicking. You will develop and maintain automated test suites using Robot Framework and Selenium to ensure library quality.
* Co-Creation: Work closely with customers and stakeholders to refine features and demonstrate results in Sprint Reviews.
Your success is grounded in:
* Automation Background: 1+ years of experience with TIA Portal (WinCC/Step7) or similar industrial SCADA systems.
* Coding Skills: Strong foundation in JavaScript (essential for WinCC Unified) and a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
* Testing Mindset: Experience with, or a strong interest in, automated testing frameworks (Python-based testing is a plus).
* Language: Fluent English for collaboration with our international teams.
You'll stand out with:
* Experience with WinCC Unified specifically.
* Knowledge of Recipe/Batch management (ISA-S88) or Braumat/SISTAR.
* Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
* Familiarity with Web Technologies (CSS, SVG, Web Components).
* Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
