About the Job

As a Cloud Engineer for AWS, you will design, build and optimize cloud infrastructure to support scalable and reliable data solutions. Your work will drive platform innovation, ensuring seamless data processing and system performance in a dynamic cloud environment.

What you do

* Design and build cloud-based infrastructure.
* Implement real-time streaming and batch ingestion for large datasets.
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability
* Provide documentation and blueprints to tribe members
* Co-Create the platform strategy of the Tribe

What you bring

* Team player, solution-oriented, open-minded and strong communication skills
* English proficiency is a must, with German language as a strong advantage (most customers speak German)
* 2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure in AWS (IaaS, Terraform, Container, Kubernetes, Networking, Security, Cloud Cost Monitoring, etc.)
* 2+ years of experience with GitHub and Jenkins (or Github Actions)
* 2+ years of experience with ANSI SQL and programming
* (optional) experience with Snowflake, DBT, Apache (or Confluent) Kafka
* (optional) experience with Python or GO, Monitoring (Dynatrace, Grafana etc.)
