Job Description

Would you like to unleash your analytical skills and transform manufacturing into a data-driven powerhouse? As a BI Manager Specialist, you'll deliver cutting-edge reporting and digital solutions, driving impactful projects and fostering global collaboration. Join us to bridge gaps between IT and business leaders and elevate data literacy across our organization.

Core Responsibilities

* Deliver value adding reporting and digitalization solutions to our business stakeholders
* Drive and implement local reporting and analytical projects
* Manage our backlog, timeline and costs
* Manage project teams that consist of BI analysts, trainees, consultants
* Liaise between IT product teams, data engineering teams, local analysts and our business leaders.
* Drive the project preparations with our business leaders
* Analyze business situations, identify gaps and opportunities, estimate the delivered value and the required effort to deliver
* Drive stakeholder communications towards our factory leadership team, from mid-leaders up to the General Manager
* Make sure that our business leaders are always kept informed about project progress
* Support and drive the local and global BI analyst and talent community through technical coaching and mentoring
* Support the increase of data literacy skills in the organization through hosting training sessions, workshops
* Participate in global projects through collaboration with BI leads and colleagues from other factories
* Contribute to our global and local BI community across Manufacturing through benchmarking, sharing and adoption of best practices

Do you have what it takes?

* BSc or MSc degree in a related professional field (Information Technology, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or similar)
* Proven experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or Data Engineering areas either as data/BI analyst, product manager, business analyst, engineer or similar role
* Experience in reporting & analytics and data modelling
* Experience working in a global environment handling activities and projects
* Pro-level Microsoft PowerBI and SQL skills
* Experience in Power Apps or other low-code/no-code platforms including citizen development concept and solutions
* Experience with either Databricks, Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services in using and building data services
* Statistical / data science experience using Python or R
* Experience with SAP Platforms, e.g. SAP PP, SAP PM, SAP HANA etc.
* Nice to have experience in project or product management, process digitalization and/ or with Manufacturing processes or working in a Manufacturing environment
* Fluency in English AND Hungarian
* Agile mentality with ability to adapt to new environment and frequent changes
* Ability to travel internationally to meet the business and team members (10-15 days of travel per year)
* This position is a fixed term opportunity for 1 year!
