Responsibilities
The Opportunity
This role is responsible to assist and execute effective and reliable controls on the legal documentation and processes related to import/export, customs brokers management and the Free Trade Zone activities, related to PGCS Colonia Plant. It is also responsible to validate and control the execution of the customs and trade processes for the PGCS Colonia Plant operations, including support for customs compliance, risk management, and productivity.
Your Impact
1) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Execute standard procedures related to import and export compliance: Work directly with the Customs and Trade Manager, Logistics and Customs brokers to facilitate the timely and compliant exportation and importation of goods
2) Free Trade Zone Execute standard procedures related to Free Trade Zone, such as reporting productions and including periodical inventory reconciliations. Execute standard procedures related to Free Trade Zone, required by Free Trade Zone Law in Uruguay and mandatory to access Free Trade Zone benefits. Timely execution of Free Trade Zone Transactions, ensuring compliance with Uruguayan Law:
* Execute and Control External WHS stock movements
* Effective management of Stock movement adjustments within Free Trade Zone, ensuring correct allocation of each adjustment

* Effective management of new customs stock control activities within FTZ Production Processes
* Fixed Assets & Consumables Free Trade Zone Transactions Forms Generation & Reporting
* FTZ Waste Disposal Transactions Forms Generation & Reporting.
3) Pepsico Global Control Standard (GCS) Act as Control Owner of the C&T Controls ensuring the established yearly pass rate. Control Owner in process assigned in C&T area. Perform CO key responsibilities and guarantee assess the process identified, following PGCS schedule.
4) AEO (Uruguayan OEC Program) Provide functional support to ensure and guarantee PGCS Colonia Plant full compliance of
the local AEO Certification Program
5) General Report problems related with Quality, FoodDefense & Food Safety System Management
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
Bachelor's degree required. Preferred fields of study include International Trade, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Data Analytics.
* At least 2-year experience in world-class companies
* Knowledge of Customs and Free Trade Zone concepts, including valuation, record keeping, import/export requirements, Customs clearance, etc.
* Communication skills in English (written/verbal)
* Advanced knowledge: Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point), desirable knowledge in SAP.
* On-site work required in Colonia del Sacramento (limited remote work possibility).
