Job Description Summary
The Early Career Training is a 6-12 month program and it is an investment in young talents where GE Vernova trains fresh graduates who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a GE Vernova business. The traineeship duration varies upon business requirement and will develop the general skills of the trainee and provide hands-on exposure to project execution, installation, and commissioning activities. Trainees will develop a deep understanding of engineering processes, project management, and technical coordination across various project execution phases, gaining valuable on-the-job knowledge and experience under the supervision of senior project managers.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

* Support the project team in end-to-end project execution activities from planning through commissioning.

* Outage preparation support, coordinate parts demand and logistics.

* Participate in project scheduling, progress tracking, and coordination between engineering, sourcing, and site teams.

* Follow up on equipment deliveries, logistics, and site readiness to ensure timely project milestones

* Follow up on event management & tools issues as they arise and work on resolution.

* Applicant might be attending customer meetings and site visits.

* Support site installation and commissioning teams by tracking punch items, NCRs, and progress reports.

* Contribute to environmental, health, and safety compliance and documentation.

* Participate in project review meetings and customer interface discussions alongside senior engineers.

* Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to resolve technical issues and implement design updates.

* Candidate is expected to rotate between multiple business functions throughout their training (ie, Project Management, Engineering, sourcing).

 

What you'll bring:

* BS Engineering - Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical or related engineering background preferred.

* Basic Experience in related field.

* Active listener with good communication skills in English.

* Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

*  Proactive with high level of integrity.

* Strives to achieve Project goals and Customer satisfaction.

* A team player with the ability to communicate effectively with crosses functional teams.

*  Displays willingness to work in harsh environments on as needed basis.

* The legal right to work in Bahrain without company sponsorship or time restriction.
