Job Purpose
GSK is looking to hire a Respiratory Marketing Summer Student to join our collaborative Respiratory Marketing team. This role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence 2-3 days per week, and reports to COPD Product Manager. The ideal candidate will be based in or near Mississauga, Ontario.

As a Respiratory Marketing Summer Student, you will support marketing, analytics, and cross-functional projects that drive healthcare professional engagement for COPD. We value curiosity, clear communication, and practical problem solving. This role offers real work, visible impact, and a chance to grow skills in commercial strategy, project management, and data-driven marketing. You will help unite science, technology, and talent to get ahead of disease together.

*** This is a paid summer student placement running from May 4, 2026 to August 28, 2026, intended for students returning to school following the contract. Internal referrals are welcome. ***

Details (Your Responsibilities)
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
* Support development and execution of marketing materials and customer communications for healthcare professionals.
* Collect and analyse campaign and channel performance to identify actionable insights.
* Help plan and coordinate medical and commercial events, including conference support.
* Create training materials and sales tools to support field teams.
* Maintain and organise team content libraries, vendor communications, and project documentation.
* Assist with administrative tasks such as purchase orders, timelines, and cross-functional meeting logistics.
* Ensuring all activities align with internal compliance and regulatory standards

Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
* Currently enrolled in a university degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Communications, or a related field and returning to studies after the placement.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. French is an asset.
* Comfortable with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
* Ability to work effectively in a team, with a proactive and positive approach.
* Basic analytical skills and an interest in using data to guide decisions.
* Eligible to work in Canada and able to attend the Mississauga office as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
* Previous internship, co-op, or volunteer experience in marketing, healthcare, or life sciences.
* Experience with campaign reporting, simple dashboard tools, or data visualisation.
* Interest or coursework in respiratory disease, COPD, or healthcare communications.
* Event planning or project coordination experience.
* Bilingual in English and French.
* Familiarity with CRM or content management systems.

In compliance with Ontario's provincial pay transparency legislation in Canada, this job posting includes a salary range to support equitable and informed hiring practices. The annual pay rate for new hires in this position ranges from CAD$31,980 to CAD$79,950 taking into account a number of factors including work location within the Canadian market, education level (e.g., Undergrad / Masters / MBA etc.) and based on the experience required for the role.
