Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
* Experience research: Design PCB for Coil characterization: You will support the design of RF test PCBs for the electrical evaluation of our SMD integrated coils used in chip-level quantum sensing
* Take responsibility: Perform RF Measurements: Perform electrical/RF measurements (e.g., VNA / S parameter characterization) of system in package test structures
* Data is everything: Analyze measurement data, structure and document test results, and support device characterization and model extraction
* Laboratory setup: Support the setup and operation of a new laboratory for RF measurements and magnetic sensing (equipment handling, measurement workflows, documentation)
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
* Study field: Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Electrical Engineering or a related field
* Experience: Hands-on experience with RF simulation and testing; prior practical lab experience
* Skills: Experience with tools for data processing, analysis, and simulation (e.g., Python/MATLAB, HFSS/ADS/AWR or similar). An understanding of quantum mechanics is a plus
* Personality: Systematic problem-solving skills and strong affinity for technical R&D topics. Curiosity to understand the underlying physical phenomena from measurement results is highly valued
* Way of working: Proactive with strong interpersonal skills
* Language skills: Excellent English (written and spoken). German is a plus

Important information:
* Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That's why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
* Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree program. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
* You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
