Work Environment

The Powertrain Development department at AUDI AG shapes the future of efficient and innovative drive systems. Our focus is on enabling data-guided decisions to optimize development processes and ensure quality.

Job Purpose/Role

* Develop an end-to-end approach for data-driven decision-making in powertrain development
* Integrate heterogeneous data sources (e.g., test bench, trials, MES/PLM, telemetry) and build robust ETL/ELT pipelines
* Design and maintain relational database structures (SQL) and create a semantic model for analysis
* Develop interactive dashboards and reports (Power BI/Tableau) to derive actionable recommendations
* Create a Decision Playbook including KPIs, data quality checks, and hypothesis testing (DoE/SPC)

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

* Enrolled Master's student in IT-related fields such as Business Informatics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, or similar
* Programming experience in Python and/or SQL, familiarity with data analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy) and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Matplotlib)
* Basic knowledge of database design (PostgreSQL/MS SQL)
* Analytical and structured thinking with enthusiasm for deriving decisions from data
* Nice to have: Initial experience with cloud/big data environments (e.g., Azure, Databricks), CI/CD, MLOps; automotive context, Data analysis and integration, ETL/ELT pipeline development, Database modeling and SQL, Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), Basic statistical methods (DoE, SPC)Application: Please send CV, current transcript, enrollment certificate, a brief motivation statementYou will agree on your internship period in close alignment with the department.
