Tesla's Motor Design team designs and builds bespoke electric motors for various applications. During your internship at Tesla, you will be working on groundbreaking new actuator technology for the Tesla Bot. You will work as part of the Tesla Motor Technology team located in Athens, Greece, on powertrain modeling for next-gen actuators.

What You'll Do

* Responsible for developing advanced functions to model actuator performance.
* Process big data, select the most compelling candidates and visualize the results.
* Develop new and enhance existing system optimization functions based on multiple criteria.
* Develop solid understanding of electrical machine design and identify the impact of key design and operating parameters.

What You'll Bring

* Pursuing a degree within engineering (preferably at last year of studies).
* Strong programming skills (Python a/o MATLAB).
* Strong mathematical and physics background.
* Fluency in English.

The following will be considered as plus:

* Understanding of algorithmic techniques and data structures.
* Understanding of optimization fundamentals.
* Very good understanding of electromagnetics and electric motor design.
* Understanding of mechanical modeling of motion transmission systems.
