Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:
* Support system design for new proof of concept/prototype
* Assist in translating user needs into high-level system requirements
* Contribute to prototype development, integration, and testing activities
* Create and maintain design documentation, block diagrams, interface definitions, and use cases
* Participate in design discussions, feasibility analysis, and technical reviews
* Help identify technical risks, assumptions, and design trade-offs
* Strong documentation skills - ability to produce structured test reports, experiment logs, and result summaries
* Document results, learnings, and recommendations from prototype evaluations
Qualifications/Requirements
* B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Systems, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
* 70% or 7 CGPA aggregate in the current degree.
* No active backlogs at the time of application.
* Willing to work in GE HealthCare premises during the internship.
* Willing to work on any projects as assigned based on fitment and business need.
* Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets, Python, or MATLAB for experiment logging, data analysis, and plotting
Desired Characteristics
* Strong interest in system design, prototyping, and product development
* Academic/project experience in prototype building, integration, testing, or multidisciplinary engineering preferred
* Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
* Exposure to testing, debugging, and performance evaluation
* Hands-on experience with programming is a plus.
* Willingness to learn new software tools and platforms based on project needs.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
