Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Master's degree student to join our team as a Thesis student in the field of AI-based Mixed-Signal Design Engineering.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on the development of new AI-based methodologies for designing mixed-signal circuits for PMICs (Power Management Integrated Circuits) in automotive applications.
The goal of this project is to explore and evaluate possible strategies for developing PMICs with a semi-automatic flow, from definition to implementation verification, in order to improve design efficiency, reduce development time, and increase product quality. You will investigate how AI and machine learning techniques can be applied to automate and optimize the design process, and develop new methodologies and tools to support this vision.

* AI Algorithm Development: Developing and implementing AI algorithms for designing and optimizing mixed-signal circuits for PMICs
* Circuit Modeling and Simulation: Creating and simulating circuit models to verify functionality and performance
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with the team to ensure circuits meet product requirements and performance specifications
* Integration: Working with tools and techniques to integrate circuits with other components and modules
* Testing and Verification: Participating in the testing and verification of PMICs
* Semi-Automatic Design Flow: Evaluating and developing strategies to implement a semi-automatic design flow-from definition to implementation verification-using AI and machine learning techniques

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

* Education: Master's degree student in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a similar field
* AI and Machine Learning: Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning
* Mixed-Signal Design and Simulation: Some experience in mixed-signal circuit design and familiarity with simulation tools such as SPICE and Verilog-AMS
* Electronics Fundamentals: Basic knowledge of electronics and circuit design
* Programming and scripting tools: Proficiency in Python, C++, Java, or similar languages
* Laboratory Skills: Some experience with laboratory measurement equipment and tools
* Working Style: Effective communication skills and an analytical working approach. Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people from different functions
