The Baker Hughes Internship is designed to enable students either pursuing a Bachelors' or Masters' degree or recently graduated to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives. Our internships will give you first-hand insights into the processes, systems, and practices that are aligned to ensure customer needs are met through flawless execution and the application of leading-edge technology.

We are seeking a motivated intern to support the development of cost models for new technologies for Green H2 electrolyzers and other innovative products. This role offers hands-on experience at the intersection of hydrogen technologies, engineering, market intelligence, and artificial intelligence.
As an Intern, you will be responsible for:
* Support the development of cost models for new and advanced technologies using AI/ML techniques
* Analyze CAPEX/OPEX drivers, materials, and manufacturing processes
* Assist in data collection, structuring, and integration into digital tools
* Monitor, analyze, and benchmark technology offerings, cost structures, and performance claims of manufacturers and key suppliers (e.g. membranes, catalysts, BOP)
* Track market trends, technology roadmaps, and supplier strategies to support techno-economic assessments and design choices
* Collaborate on technology development, including performance, design, and scalability aspects
* Contribute to reporting, dashboards, competitive assessments, and technical documentation
Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Data Science, Energy Systems, or a related field
* Basic knowledge of electrochemistry or hydrogen technologies is a plus
* Familiarity with AI/ML tools and data analysis (e.g., Python)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Interest in technology benchmarking, cost intelligence, and supplier landscape analysis

To be successful in this role you should meet the following criteria:
* Have a Master's degree in Management Engineering or Industrial Engineering and Management or Mechanical, Aeronautical, Chemical, Energy, or related Engineering Disciplines
* Demonstrated Academic excellence
* Passion for engineering with strong technical attitude and an analytical approach to problem solving
* Fluent in English (oral and written)
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Be able to legally work in the country that you are applying in, without company sponsorship or time restriction

The fixed allowance for this position will be between this range: 600 - 1000 EUR gross monthly.
The allowance will be established in accordance with criteria related to the candidate's academic status and their distance from the workplace.
