Sustainability Governance - Internship

The ESG Governance Center is responsible for all client-facing ESG requests, ensuring timely feedback. It monitors international regulatory developments and builds expertise to proactively meet client needs. It also drafts all ESG-related policies and internal regulations.We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Governance Intern to join our team.
The successful candidate will support the following activities:
* ESG Regulation: Monitor and provide support on ESG-related regulations affecting GenAM business; assist with the implementeation of solutions and internal regulations in compliance with applicable law
* Internal Governance: Assist the ESG Team in preparing materials for the Board of Directors and the Sustainability Committee on sustainability issues. Monitor and update GenAM ESG internal regulation, ensuring alignment with other policies and stakeholder contributions
* Reporting and Regulatory Disclosures: Support the preparation of SFDR documentation for financial products, including ex-ante disclosures outlining ESG strategies and ex-post disclosures detailing the annual ESG performance of portfolios. Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Compliance, Investment, Client-Facing Functions, and Reporting teams

* Educational Background: Undergraduate with strong academic credentials in Law, Political Science, Finance, Economics, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field
* Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide insights
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports, presentations and internal regulations
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Interest in ESG: Genuine interest in environmental, social, and governance issues and a commitment to responsible investment practices
