INTERNSHIP - WB Strategy, Control and Support

Your Role & Work Environment

ING WB Luxembourg is looking for a motivated and client-oriented Intern to join our team supporting Financial Institutions (FI), Corporate Sector Clients (CSC), and Real Estate Finance (REF) for a 6-month internship beginning in April 2026. Please note that only students who can provide a valid internship agreement (school convention) will be considered. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in regulatory and operational processes that are essential to maintaining a compliant and efficient banking environment, while supporting the Strategy team in reaching the commercial goals.

You will work closely with relationship managers, product specialists, and various departments across ING's global network. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, compliance, client onboarding and commercial strategy in a dynamic international setting.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Support the team in executing the action plan to achieve commercial targets
* Assist in the KYC process for new and existing clients, including gathering and reviewing client information
* Help maintain accurate client data in ING's systems (e.g., CRM tools)
* Contribute to the preparation of reports and data quality checks

We Look For

A proactive and eager-to-learn student who enjoys working in a fast-paced, international environment. You are detail-oriented, organized, and have a strong interest in financial services, compliance and strategy.

You Also Have:
* Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* A collaborative mindset and willingness to take initiative
* Interest in commercial strategy, financial regulations, compliance, or KYC processes (prior knowledge is a plus but not required)
