Job Description

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Android Engineering Intern to join our mobile team. You will work alongside experienced engineers to build, test, and ship features that impact our users. This is a hands-on role where you will write real code, participate in code reviews, and learn how to build scalable mobile applications in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
* Develop and maintain features for our Android application using Kotlin (and Java).
* Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality user experiences.
* Write clean, testable code and participate in peer code reviews.
* Help identify and fix bugs to improve application performance and stability.
* Participate in team agile processes, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning

Qualifications

What We're Looking For
* Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
* Basic understanding of Kotlin and/or Java, the Android SDK, and Material Design principles.
* Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
* A strong desire to learn and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
* Good communication skills and a collaborative team player.
Nice to Have
* Personal Android projects, apps published on the Google Play Store, or contributions to open-source projects.
* Familiarity with modern Android architectures (e.g., MVVM, MVI) and Android Jetpack components (e.g., Jetpack Compose).
* Exposure to unit/UI testing or CI/CD pipelines
