YOUR ROLE You will contribute to the optimization of a dry pack machine at the FQC step by developing and implementing an automated door opening and closing system. Your mission will help eliminate the operator's manual movement, improve ergonomics, enhance process efficiency, and support the industrialization of a more automated and reliable solution. You will work with the engineering and production teams to: * Analyze the current machine operation and identify automation opportunities * Study and propose an electrical/mechatronic solution for door actuation * Participate in the design, integration, and testing of the automated door system * Support troubleshooting, validation, and performance evaluation * Contribute to documentation and technical reporting for the project YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES * Student preparing Technician or licence diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a similar field * Strong interest in industrial automation, electrical systems, and machine optimization * Basic knowledge of: * Electrical schematics * Sensors and actuators * Control systems / PLCs / automation principles * Machine integration and industrial safety * Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment * Good communication skills and team spirit * English proficiency is a plus ST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
