Position Summary
The Cost Intern will support the Finance/Costing team in physical inventory audits and cycle count processes. This role provides hands-on experience in inventory control, data analysis, and internal audit support, while working closely with operational areas such as warehouses, yards, and production.
Required Qualifications
* Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
* Ability to analyze data and work with databases
* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
* Willingness to work in operational environments (warehouses, yards, production areas)
* Teamwork, proactive attitude, and sense of responsibility
Preferred Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
* Intermediate English proficiency
* Interest in cost analysis and inventory management
* Organized and eager to learn
Position Overview
The Cost Intern will assist in inventory audits, monitor cycle counts, and support internal audit requirements. Responsibilities include analyzing inventory data, working with part numbers, and preparing reports and presentations.
The role also involves visiting operational areas (PLCs, trailer yards, warehouses, and production) to verify inventory accuracy and support process improvements.
