Job Description Summary
The Product Definition Engineer (intern) will create 3D modeling and drawings using SIEMENS NX. Moreover, the PDE intern will interact with a cross functional engineering team including Electrical, Mechanical Design, and Manufacturing to collaborate on the support of GE Aerospace Commercial engine programs.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies in the form of 2D cross sections, 3D models, tolerance stack-ups, and various electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection.
* Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
* Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
* Collaborates with others to solve issues. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
Required Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Design or related with at least 1.5 years to graduate.
* Strong communication skills in both English & Spanish.
Desired Characteristics
* Strong oral and written communication skills that include closing communication loops, giving status and asking for support when required in projects.
* Strong accountability and tracking of assigned tasks.
* Organized, curious, fast learner.
* GD&T ASME Y14.5 knowledge
