A Day in the Life

We are looking for an enthusiastic Intern to support our Digital Health team in optimizing healthcare processes through digital solutions. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining experience in healthcare technology, data management, in the Portuguese hospital ecosystem and project coordination. The intern will assist the team with various tasks, contributing to the success of ongoing projects while gaining valuable knowledge and skills.

Internship details:
* Start date: 1st May 2026
* Duration: 12 months
* Work model: remote with on-site support
* Location: Lisbon
* Working time: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
You will support the implementation of remote monitoring programs that require the rollout of a digital tool across multiple hospitals in Portugal. These programs follow a structured lifecycle, and you'll contribute hands-on across each phase:
1st Phase: Pathway Design
1. Take part in client visits and discovery sessions to understand and map real-world hospital workflows.
2. Participate in pathway design meetings to identify which healthcare professional-patient interactions can be digitized and how the tool can support this transformation in care.
2nd Phase: Pathway Digitization and implementation
1. Configure, digitize and run quality control tests on the pathway components within the platform.
2. Run training sessions with clients to support the adoption and implementation of the new way of working.
3rd Phase: Support Pathway Adoption
1. Provide first-line technical support to clinical teams and help patients with onboarding and completing tasks.
2. Support the creation of dashboards to monitor program performance

Required Knowledge and Skills:
* Recently graduated with min Bachelor's Degree or finishing Master's Degree in Health Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or similar
* Fluent in Portuguese and English
* Strong communication skills and empathy to support both clinical teams and patients in a clear, professional way.
* Strong sense of responsibility and autonomy, able to manage multiple priorities with rigor and resilience.
* Analytical and quality-driven, ensuring accurate digital configuration and testing.

Would be a plus:
* Exposure to healthcare or digital health projects.
* Knowledge of Power BI
* Fluent in Spanish
