As a Rooms Division Intern, you will be at the heart of the hotel's operations. This role is designed to provide a 360-degree view of the Rooms Division, rotating through the Front Office and Housekeeping departments. You will learn to deliver IHG's signature service while ensuring that every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable stay.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Front Office & Guest Services
* Assist with the guest check-in and check-out process using the hotel's Property Management System (PMS).
* Provide a warm welcome to guests, managing inquiries and providing information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
* Handle guest requests and complaints with empathy, ensuring a swift and professional resolution.
* Support the Concierge and Guest Relations teams in creating personalized experiences for VIP guests and IHG One Rewards members.
2. Housekeeping & Heart of House
* Gain insight into the daily operations of the Housekeeping department, including room inspections and quality control.
* Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all guest rooms meet IHG's high standards of cleanliness and functionality.
* Assist with inventory management and the distribution of linens and guest amenities
