Role Description

This is a summer internship role for Maritime positions at Arup, based in London with the flexibility to work in a hybrid format, allowing some tasks to be performed remotely. As a Maritime Intern, you will support the team in the design, analysis, and development of maritime projects. Your daily tasks will involve conducting research, preparing reports, performing technical assessments, assisting with project design, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Qualifications

* Knowledge in civil or structural engineering principles and an understanding of maritime infrastructure
* Proficiency in design and analysis tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software
* Strong research, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to prepare reports and convey technical concepts effectively
* Enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary team environment
* A proactive and positive attitude towards learning and contributing to project success
* Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Maritime Engineering, or related fields
* Knowledge of sustainable design practices and innovation in maritime solutions is a plus
