[What the role is]

[LTA-RCID] COMMUTER INFRASTRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION TRAINEE [GRIT@Gov]

[What you will be working on]

This project offers trainee the unique opportunity to contribute (through gamification) in the development of an educational board game, aimed at raising public awareness about the real-world challenges of constructing commuter infrastructure such as sheltered linkways, cycling paths, pedestrian bridge lifts, and bus stops in Singapore.

Project tasks could include the following:

* Game Design & Development
* Content & Scenario Crafting
* Visual & Graphic Design
* Marketing & Outreach Strategy
* Project Coordination & Documentation

As part of the training, the trainee would be exposed to elements of civil engineering, urban planning, stakeholder engagement and project management.

[What we are looking for]

The trainee should preferably have interests and attributes in:

* construction of transport/commuter infrastructure amidst urban planning constraints;
* developing logic-based systems and board/digital game mechanics;
* creative writing, user-experience storytelling and stakeholder empathy;
* working with interdisciplinary teams; and
* undertaking iterative design processes
