About the job

The Data Science (DS) team at Danone Nutricia Research, Singapore supports Digital Health and other teams in creating Machine Learning (ML) models that ease real-world data capture. Examples of these include the growth and stool AI that comes bundled with the My Unique Moments (MUM) App. The DS team is consistently making improvements in these Apps. However, due to the very nature of the ML, there is always room for improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities
In this role, you will improve both the accuracy and usability of AI models in production. This will include literature review of modern AI/vision algorithms, designing improvement algorithms appropriate for each AI model and propose & implement improvement algorithms. You are expected to (along with your supervisor):
* Propose improvement algorithms
* Create evaluation criterion
* Create timelines for completion
* Implement the solution
* Present results to stakeholders within Danone
Key internal stakeholders/relationships
* Data Science Team
* Digital Health Team
* Other Global teams depending upon the specific algorithm

The following technical skills and experience:
• Currently pursuing a university Degree in Data Science, Computer Science or equivalent
• Good Python programming skills
• Prior experience in Deep Learning
• Knowledge of the Functional API in TensorFlow will be an advantage.
